Fishing with Dad

Normally on Friday nights in the Late Spring/Summer, Jerod & I are working at the race track. With the races were cancelled tonight with the threat of rain, so Jerod decided to take the girls fishing over by his Aunt/Uncle Vicki & Scott's house (they live on a lake.) On Taylor's 1st attempt, she caught this nice 16 1/2 inch bass, she was so excited! Brookie came home exclaiming "Mom, I can touch a worm now!" They crack me up.. To my WONDERFUL husband, I love you, couldn't live with out you, your the best daddy and husband! xoxo

Spring Pix!

Just a few pictures of my babies! My little dancin' diva's, I really love to watch the girls dance, at the risk of sounding "braggy" they really are good little dancers! Taylor's long limbs make her a beautiful ballerina, Kenzie just "gets it" things come so easy to her, and she may not look like she's having fun (smiles are hard to find on the stage) she's definately into it & has some rhythem! Brooklyn's awesome at "Jazz Hands" no pun intended, she has really precise arm movements! I'm just so proud of each and everyone of my daughters! The other picture is of Brooklyn, just thought she was looking extra cute that day, so I snapped her pic!

TTFN, have a good weekend!

Swimming in May!

Here's the picture I promised, my crazy girls swimming in May! Not sure where Kenzie was for the photo, but here are Tay & Brookie Boo, gearing up to head down to Grandma's pool!!

1st day!

This was the 1st day of school for the 2007-2008 school year, I'll have to take a picture on the last so I can compare the changes, I know Taylor's gotten taller the little stinker, she's only got a few inches to go and she'll be taller than me! Jeana says pictures help, so I promise to do better at the whole picture thing, actually the whole blogging thing, I was gung-ho and than I got laxed!

"LOCKS OF LOVE"

Ms. Kenzie let Auntie Jeana cut off 10 1/2 or 11 inches of hair last week, we donated it to locks of love! Thanks Auntie Jeana for the thought & the haircut, despite what Uncle Jake & her father have to say, I'm lovin' it and so is Kenzie Rae!

Schools almost done!

We have a countdown calander in the 4 yr old K room, countdown to graduation! Graduation into Kindergarten..I think we are at 9 days, woo hoo! I'm super excited for all the kiddo's, but yet I'm said, they are the first official "class" for me to work with the entire school year, and I'm really going to miss alot! All the hugs, smiles, pouts, laughter, tears..but most of all I think I'll miss dancing with them! I can dance like no ones watching with them, and they all laugh with me, and think I'm a little crazy...oh how I love to be in pre-kindergarten! One of our little guys who can't walk, or talk much, love him to pieces, he calls me Hoff-Hoff, good thing he's stickin' around another year, I just hope I get the same room assignment for next year (or a job at that, with the way the everything is going, cost of living way up, job market way down!)

Hope ya'll had a nice holiday weekend, we are suppose to be back on the warmer side here in Wisconsin, after old man winter reared his head the past 2 nights, definately don't want to see frost until sometime in fall! And to think the kids were swimming 2 days ago in Gma/Gpa's pool, yes on Memorial Day, Gpa heated the pool and they swam, oh to be that young and foolish again!

TTFN!

Holidays

Well it's Memorial Day weekend, a smaller holiday of sorts, but a holiday all the same..All I know is no work/school tomorrow, YIPPEE! I love holidays, especially since marrying my sweetie 12 years ago, because holidays are always a reason to go to "Grandma Carol's" Such a big family, but Grandma Carol always cooks on holidays, and the food never disappoints!! We had Jen home for a week 1/2 but that time flew by and it's almost time for her to get back on a plane for Arizona, can't imagine how hard that is for her, I would never have been brave enough to attend collage several states away, but I know Jen's strong and a few days back into her routine, she'll be good to go! LOVE YA JEN!
11 1/2 days of school left when we go back on Tuesday! It really went by fast this year, and it's amazing to see how much the 4 yr old kindergarteners have grown. Some are inches taller, and just have that big kid/no more baby look to them. I love how much each of them have grown in their abilities/skills. I'm planning on working summer school from June 23-July 25, the girls will attend, and I'll be in the 4 yr old K room, I guess a good way to get to know some of the students who will be in there next year, hopefully I get to stay in there and don't get moved, I love that age group! I hope everyone has a safe/happy Memorial Day weekened, that's about all I got, I know pretty boring life I lead!
TTFN!
